One panel stays on screen while eight short steps scroll past it. When a step reaches the middle of the window the panel is redrawn as that step's scene and played, the kit's strokes drawing themselves in. The deck shows one panel at a time on a click; this shows one panel at a time on a scroll, and the difference is the pacing.
